It’s more of a shiny material and they fit pretty well. They are not high waist! They stop right at the belly button so if your looking for that extra stretch when bending down at work..your at the wrong place lol but they look very professional and sleek. I will be wearing them to work, and I will see how they move around. I got a 2X because I have thick thighs so if you have thicker thighs like me size up! Also the string doesn’t really do much when tied.
