I have a terrible time finding shampoos where I can stand the scent and also clean my hair without leaving a residue. Citress always met both of those conditions affordably, but then it seems it was discontinued. I took a chance on the extra gentle fragrance free version and it does the same job cleaning, and although it's fragrance free, it doesn't have any weird chemical scent either.
