I purchased these shoes because they reminded me of the Sam & Libby ballerina flats of many years ago. I wanted some shoes that would be good to use around the house, walk to the mailbox, etc but not to go out and run errands. These are good, except they run a bit small. I purchased a 8W, though they do fit, I find my toes are at the end of the toe box. I am going to purchase another pair in the next size up. For the price point they are perfect for my use. If you plan to use them for work or running errands you may find them to be too flat and not sturdy enough.
