Initially I thought I got a steal with this spear as it was half the cost of my friends Headhunter. Machine and finish were very good, pole assembled perfectly straight, loved the built in grip section but unfortunately after a couple days of use, while on a dive, I hit a decent Hogfish and when swimming back to the surface I watched as the speared fish and the carbon section of my pole fell to the bottom of the ocean. Luckily it wasn't overly deep and was able to recover both but upon inspection the adhesive and threads both failed it appears. Used my sons cheap Cressi to finish the trip. This pole is not a keeper.
